The devil visits heaven and asks permission to kill Hezekiah, but God provides an unclear answer. Lucifer then asks for Faith Parker’s life instead. God accepts and Satan immediately seeks death to prepare for Faith’s last days. In a sudden turn, Hezekiah and Faith fall in love and all is well until an attempt is made on her life. A mysterious disease suddenly breaks out in the city and no one can stop it. As the Spirit of Death unleashes his power over the Metropolis, can Hezekiah save Central City from devastation and save Faith from the Shadow of Death?

“What inspired me to write the Sword of the Spirit series is the scripture in Ephesians 6: 11-17 on the full armor of God,” Jackson said. “At first, I was working on a whole different project; until God interrupts him by bringing the idea of the sword of the spirit to the fore. The idea behind this work is to explain spiritual warfare in a simple way.

Wayman Jackson attended Georgia State University for a few years to become a graphic designer. He is a martial artist, a taekwondo instructor and a singer. Jackson is currently working on his fourth degree black belt. Her knowledge of martial arts helps her write realistic scenes in her work. He enjoys reading “how-to” books to help him hone his writing skills.

Jackson followed Christ for over twenty years. He was born again as a teenager and his life improved. Before Jesus Christ, Jackson suffered from depression, anger and low self-esteem. After receiving Christ, he felt that “the slate was wiped away” for the many sins he had committed before. He states that his depression is gone because of the new hope in his heart. His anger also vanished because he could then easily forgive people because he too had been forgiven. His low self-esteem was replaced with joy because he accepted that God loved him and that he was on his way to heaven. Jackson enjoys using his creative talents to win as many souls as possible for Christ. He wants Jesus to save other people through his work as Jesus saved him.
