Take a StoryWalk
The Santa Clara County Library District made it easier for Campbell Express Library patrons to read while walking. The StoryWalk project at the Campbell Community Center features pages taken straight from a children’s book, assembled and set up along an outdoor trail to read and follow.
The children’s books selected for StoryWalk are “From Head to Toe” by Eric Carle, presented in English and Spanish. and “I Spy on the Treasure Hunt” by Walter Wick. One starts at the main parking lot on Campbell Avenue, the other at the sports fields and both lead to the Campbell Express library.
The StoryWalk project at the Campbell Community Center is a pilot program in collaboration with the Town of Campbell. It can be extended to other areas of the Santa Clara County Library District.
