Charles Giuliano has retired as director of exhibitions for the New England School of Art & Design at Suffolk University. With his German born wife, the writer/ translator, Astrid Hiemer, they have relocated to the Berkshires. He is the publisher editor of the on line Berkshire Fine Arts which is linked to this site from the Home Page. For many years he was a columnist and continues as a contributor to Art New England. He was also a staff critic for the former Boston Herald Traveler and the Boston Phoenix and was a correspondent for Art News. Maverick-Arts was founded in September of 2000.
